One day in my dreams, I came to a house
A house that was nigh as high as a mouse
But as I approached, the house, it grew
Until I could walk in the door and right through
I walked inside, and all I saw
Was a very long and narrow hall
Along the walls were many a door
I found I had the need to explore
The first door I opened, was to my right
Opened to a room extremely bright
Colors and rainbows littered everywhere
I had to shield my eyes from the glare
The next door I came to was something new
Neat, tidy, and grey all the way through
Boring, but calm this dark room was
I sat there a while, just because
After resting a while, I left that dark room
back into the hallway, where doors still loomed
The next one I came to, as soon as I passed
I found that the room was entirely glass!
I didn't want anything in that room to break
So one look inside was all I could take
The room across from the glass so pretty
Made me laugh, and think the house was witty
For across the hall, the room I found
was made completely of goose down!
I walked down that long and narrow hall
exploring every room I saw
Cities and jungles, desert and sea
Such a long hall, rooms too many!
I walked and expored for hours that day
Wondering how long I would stay
But then I grew lonely, there was no other soul
and the hall was closing in on me, beckoning me to go
I could see no exit, I asked, how do I leave?
The room answered my question, 'just believe'
I closed my eyes, and held still as dead
Woke up in my room, covers over my head
I said "This is my room, and this is my house,
...and I'm not as tiny as a mouse!"
